Who we are and how to contact us
CadencePlus Solutions™ operates this analytics education, community and consulting website. Angela Osobase is the contact for privacy questions and requests: aosobase@cadenceplus.ca. Use “Privacy request” in your subject line.
This policy explains our handling of personal information in connection with this website and the CadencePlus Solutions™️ Learning Hub. Applicable Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and provincial privacy laws where applicable, governs our responsibilities.
Information we collect
- Resource requests: name, email, request date and the resource requested and whether its download was started.
- Contact and consulting enquiries: name, email, subject and message, plus any company, phone, industry, service preference and team-size details you choose to provide.
- Community interest forms: information requested on our Microsoft Forms sign-up, such as name, experience, country, learning interests and preferred groups.
- Technical information: our hosting and embedded-service providers may process IP addresses, browser or device information, request logs and similar data needed to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website.
Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, identification documents, confidential client datasets or sensitive health information through these forms.
Why we collect it
We use the information you provide to deliver requested resources, count resource requests and download starts, respond to enquiries, discuss potential consulting engagements, organize community interest and operate the website. Counts of downloads started are activity measures, not proof that a file was saved or read. We do not sell personal information.
Consent and your choices
Form notices identify the purpose of collection before you submit. Required fields allow us to fulfil that request; optional fields can be left blank. By submitting, you ask us to use those details for the stated purpose. If you do not want to use a form, contact us by email to discuss another way to make your request.
You can withdraw consent to optional uses by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual limits. This may affect services that depend on the information. A resource request or enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Where commercial electronic messages are sent, we will use a permitted consent basis, identify the sender and provide an unsubscribe mechanism in accordance with applicable anti-spam law.
Cookies, browser storage and embedded content
Some tools use browser storage for preferences, learning progress or drafts. You can clear this through your browser, which may remove saved progress. We have not added advertising pixels or a third-party marketing analytics tracker to these pages.
YouTube previews and playback, the Microsoft Forms community form, social networks and hosting or sign-in services may process technical information and use their own cookies or similar technologies. On the main website, YouTube playback is loaded after you select a video. The Learning Hub may load its lesson player when you open a lesson, as described below. Their policies apply to their own services. You can choose not to play embedded videos or use the direct links instead.
Providers, disclosure and processing locations
We use website hosting and database services, Microsoft Forms for community sign-up and YouTube for lessons. OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare support website hosting and storage. Access to form records in our website reports is restricted to the site owner. We may disclose information with your permission, to service providers supporting these purposes, or when required or permitted by law.
Providers may process or store information outside Canada. It may then be subject to the laws and lawful access requests of those jurisdictions. Contact us for information about the providers used for a particular request. We do not promise that all information remains in Canada.
Retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, legitimate business records and applicable legal requirements. Information should be deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed. You can ask us to delete enquiry or resource-request information, subject to requirements that permit or require retention.
The website uses HTTPS and access restrictions for owner reports. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If a privacy incident occurs, we will assess it and take the reporting, notification and record-keeping steps required by applicable law.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, raise a concern or ask about withdrawing consent. Email our privacy contact above. We may request proportionate identity verification before releasing or changing records. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any lawful restriction or extension.
You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the appropriate provincial privacy regulator. Making a complaint does not limit your rights.
Children and changes to this policy
This website’s forms and professional community are intended for people who can provide meaningful consent. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian should contact us before submitting personal information. Contact us if you believe a child’s information has been submitted without appropriate consent.
We will update the date on this page when the policy changes. Where a new use or disclosure requires further consent or notice, we will seek it as required. This policy was last updated on October 19, 2026.
CadencePlus Solutions™️ Learning Hub
This policy also covers the CadencePlus Solutions™️ Learning Hub (“Learning Hub”), our account-based learning platform. The following details explain how its learning and support features use personal information.
Account and learning information
The Hub currently uses ChatGPT sign-in and receives an account identifier, email address and any name supplied through that sign-in. We do not receive your ChatGPT password or conversation history through this login. We also store the profile and learning preferences you provide, selected courses, cohort or study-pod details, lesson checks, saved SQL queries, practice notes, project submissions, uploaded files, evidence links, attempts, scores, reviewer feedback and completion records.
Reward features store credit transactions, redemptions, guidance requests, booking details and responses. Where enabled, the Hub records video playback position and completion, dates of saved learning activity, learning-day streaks and walkthrough preferences. Playback and activity records describe interactions with the platform; they do not prove that a person paid attention or mastered a skill.
Purposes and authorized access
We use these records to save and resume learning, check answers, review projects, calculate progress and rewards, deliver guidance, support learners, operate cohorts and understand course participation and completion. Authorized staff may review relevant learner records, maintain private support notes and use administrative support views or permitted resets and corrections. Administrative logs may record the staff member, action, affected account, reason, time and relevant changes.
If you join a learning environment provided for an organization, its authorized administrators and reviewers may access relevant profile, enrolment, progress and submitted-work records for that environment. Ask the organization about its own use of records, including any employment or training decisions. Other learners do not receive general access to your account.
Your sharing choices
Leaderboard participation and peer sharing are optional. If you opt into the leaderboard, other learners in your environment may see your display name and lifetime points. If you choose to share a verified submission, peers may see its written findings and evidence link; the Hub does not share its attachment through that feature. Links to externally hosted work may be accessible according to the permissions you set with that provider. You can change sharing preferences in the Hub or ask us for help. Previously viewed or copied information may not be recoverable.
Sign-in, storage and video providers
OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare currently support the Hub’s hosting, account integration, database and file storage. YouTube provides embedded lessons. Loading a lesson player may contact YouTube before playback; playing a video may involve its cookies and technical information under its own privacy practices. The Hub’s playback records, when enabled, are stored with your learning account. External BI tools, notebooks and evidence-hosting services follow their own policies. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information in practice work.
The Hub uses necessary sign-in and session technologies and browser storage to support course preferences and embedded practice. Account-saved Hub records are separate from browser-only progress in some main-website tools; clearing browser storage does not automatically delete account records. Our providers may process information outside Canada as described in this policy. We do not promise Canadian-only storage.
Access, correction and retention
Contact aosobase@cadenceplus.ca with “Learning Hub privacy request” to request access, correction, deletion or help with optional sharing. We may verify your identity before acting. Required learning and account information is needed to provide account-based features; withdrawing consent may limit those features. We retain records only as needed for their stated purposes and applicable legal requirements. Some audit, transaction or dispute records may need to be retained, and backup copies may persist until their normal expiry. We will explain applicable limits when responding. Signing out or clearing browser storage is not an account-deletion request.
